July 2012 – The motor oil and additive producer LIQUI MOLY has never hesitated to accept ambitious challenges. After conquering its home market in Germany, it is now focusing on international business. Here LIQUI MOLY intends to develop into the global market leader for motor oil, announced Business Manager and Owner Ernst Prost as his vision for the next decade. One rung on this ladder to success is the 400 square meter booth at this year's Automechanica Trade Fair in Frankfurt (Germany).

Envisioning itself as the world's market leader may sound temerarious, because here a family company has to compete with multi-billion dollar companies. But looking a LIQUI MOLY's development in the past, it no longer sounds so brash.Turnover has nearly doubled over the last five years. On the German aftermarket, LIQUI MOLY is already one of the market leaders. And this year readers of no less than four German automobile magazines have selected LIQUI MOLY as the best oil brand.

This brand strength is not a matter of chance. In 2012 LIQUI MOLY will again be represented by a large booth at the Automechanica. With over 400 square meters of floor space the company will present itself in the entry area of Hall 9.1 at booth C06 -a major appearance at the world's largest trade fair for the aftermarket. Newly developed products will also be on display. This includes a diesel additive to ensure that the particulate filter does not clog up so quickly, thus increasing its service life. For countries with a high percentage of sulfur in their fuel, LIQUI MOLY researchers have developed the TBN Booster: In the engine oil this oil additive inhibits formation of sulfuric acid. This allows an increase in oil change intervals of up to 25 percent. And in terms of the motor oils themselves, a whole series of recently advanced and completely new grades will be introduced for commercial vehicles.

Quality made in Germany is the basis of LIQUI MOLY's recipe for success. This quality can be inspected in detail at the fair over the entire band width of over 4,000 different products. LIQUI MOLY's line includes more than just a few different grades of motor oil; it offers the RIGHT motor oil for virtually every car. Then come the additives, for example for keeping the engine clean and thereby increasing its service life. In addition to motor oils and additives, which are the two most important lines, LIQUI MOLY also offers car care products, service products, all materials and tools for replacing windshields, various types of grease, pastes and much more. Hardly any other manufacturer in the automotive sector offers such a wide range.

And, of course, the formula for success also includes comprehensive customer service - at the Automechanika as well. At its booth, LIQUI MOLY will offer demonstrations, and applications engineers will be available for tips on how to get more out of the products and help you solve any technical problems.

The 'Automechanika' is a true crystallization point for the branch and a very good barometer for its mood', stated Ernst Prost. At this event LIQUI MOLY has continuously shifted its focal point in the direction of international business during the last few years.
