I own a 2007 Civic Si. I am the original owner of the vehicle and we have spent about 145,000 miles together.
This Civic is my daily commuter, but does see track time at my local circuits about once every two months. Oil has always been a very important factor for me. I change my oil every 3,000 miles or after every track day. I would switch between oils like ... . This was until a friend introduced me to LIQUI MOLY. He told me to put in the Cera Tec as well as the LIQUI MOLY engine oil Special Tec AA, which is specially engineered for Asian car engines. I was not a fan of using additives in my engine, but I tried it, because it wasn’t something I had to add with every oil change.
The oil change was pretty straight forward. After draining the used oil, I put the Special Tec AA oil in first and then poured the bottle of Cera Tec in.

So far, I put on about 1,000 miles since the oil change and the fact that I am able to feel a positive difference just from an oil change is a great sign. It wasn’t until using LIQUI MOLY that I realized that my engine was in fact tired from all the hard driving miles, and my car just feels rejuvenated with this new oil and Cera Tec. I’m glad that I have finally found myself an oil brand that I can stick with.
